Georgia State University added 1,152 beds at Piedmont Central. Piedmont Central will also feature a dining facility of over 15,000 square feet.
Two new labs will connect at floors four and five above the existing courtyard on the North side of the Science Annex facing Hurt Park.
The Aquatics Building on the corner Decatur Street and Piedmont Avenue is undergoing renovations.
The new Research Science Park located at the corner of Decatur Street and Jesse Hill Jr. Drive is entering into its second phase.
The School of Law moved from their previous location in Urban Life into their new facility in July 2015.
25 Park Place Phase III was completed with five floors being occupied in the building. Facilities worked with various departments to create office spaces and move staff. Many moves came from 10 Park Place and 34 Peachtree buildings. Phase IV that will incorporate construction services and moves is currently in progress.
The top floors of the T-Deck will be closed to students, faculty and staff from May 11th.
The Student Center has been renamed Student Center East and the University Center has been renamed Student Center West.
